This iPhone/iPod Touch application provides weather Radar images with ability to zoom-in and out over a given area.
Features Include: This program provides a way to display NOAA public NEXRAD images in 48 states. You can choose between displaying the latest reflectivity and velocity data from any of the 140 NEXRAD radar sites around the country. The program will also display the names of over 25,000 cities and towns on the map as you zoom and scroll. Turn off the Radar animation to see the location of the NEXRAD station in relation to your current location. Since this application is GPS enabled you can press the locate button and it will find your approximate location so you can see the weather around you.
What's New: 1.2 - Animated RADAR and storm relative velocity for storm spotters.

Review
Pros: High quality images with ability to zoom, auto-locate feature, Radar sweep show NEXRAD station.
Cons: Does not support Guam, Puerto Rico, Alaska or Hawaii, no animated Radar.
Notes: ** Reviewed on an iPhone 3G **, tap and hold the color legend to see the data values.
