As a basis of comparison I compared 3 different memory card transfer systems. I tested this Card Export II, Card Reader, and a standard SanDisk ImageMate 8 in 1 USB external card reader for transfer times.
During the test I copied a 46MB iSilo PDB database file from a Windows 2000 Professional machine. Below are the results for the three tests.
| Product Name | Speed (seconds) |
| SanDisk ImageMate 8 in 1 USB Card Reader | 44.5 |
| Card Reader 1.06 | 49.4 |
| Card Reader 1.06 (Background Mode) | 50.1 |
| Card Export II 2.25 (Palm OS) | 118.7 |
Card Export II ...
Pros: Simple to configure and start using, supports multiple memory cards, ability to disable background alarms.
Cons: Requires separate license for Palm OS and Pocket PC, no background operation, slightly slow copy speed.
