Pros: Airspace and airport information, low price, simulation mode, color terrain, runway alignment cones, easy to turn off map features such as towns and private airports.
Cons: No hardware button assignment or full-screen support, no drop-down for METAR.
Platform: None - Windows and Pocket PC versions have the same features, except on the Windows PC version you can set the view range up to 400 nm.
Notes: ** Reviewed on a Toshiba e335 **, The trial (demo) version includes a limited data set for the pacific northwest (you must register before you can download trial).

"I used the Windows version on a recent flight and found it quite nice to use. A couple of things I'd like to see improved in the future: Increase the line width of rivers, place colored roaded labels (Interstate signs, etc), Include all major roads ( Interstate and US Highways), Allow larger text bottom of the screen information, allow easier switching between north up and track up modes, when in track up mode a large compass arc would be nice, and last, integration with some type of onscreen keyboard (I was using a WinXP / touchscreen combo). Over all I'm very happy with this software. It performed very well and I'm really looking forward to future enhancements. From a cost standpoint, this software is just great. $24 every four months. Support has been great so far. Return emails have been courteous and prompt. {version 1.3.8}"

"I have installed this software and registered for the 4 months to get a good idea of how it performs. Installation on the Pocket PC was perfect and installed the software to my SD card along with all terrain and data files. The program runs very good and seems to be pretty quick. lots of options to configure. Installation on the PC however did not go good, this requires Java to install and for some reason I could not fire off the installer. Support was good when emailing for help, however did not get resolved. Since I like to create routes at home the evening before going on a trip, this is a slight drawback. The Terrain only works in Northup mode, if you are in tracking mode then it will not show up, kinda a bummer and hopefully will be allowed to work like this in the future. Its $24 every 4 months for updates! that is $72 per year to use the product. I guess since its updated with current TFR and such every day and the Nav DB seems to be updated and very current its not realy bad. If you consider this yearly cost based against other products for cycle updates, its not bad then. {version 1.3.7}"

"great terrain and airport info...I find the menu a bit difficult in flight...updates are easy to install. the terrain files are split up in such a way that my location requires two seperate terrain files and the software only allows one :( at a time. {version 1.3.6}"
