Leo's Flight Simulator .6 (Freeware)
This is a full-featured flight simulator (Game) for your Windows or Pocket PC device.
Features Include: several aircraft to choose from, you can view the aircraft and gauges on the same screen, you can customize the clouds and wind, you can fly at day or night. Provides ATC (including ATIS and ASOS) and aircraft sounds. You can use the compress feature to speed up the simulation.

Review
Pros: Good graphics for use on a handheld device, multiple aircraft to choose from.
Cons: Difficult to get started and use the keyboard for aircraft controls, slow loading even on new devices, no documentation.
Platform: None - Pocket PC and Windows version have the same features.
Notes: ** Reviewed on a Toshiba e335 **, there is also a Windows PC and Smartphone version of the game.

| "Amazing free Flight Simulator, though lack of documentation makes it a bit difficult to get going. If you have used the MS Flight Sim and have access to its documentation, tutorials and maps, it is a whole lot easier! It has full range of instrumentation aids and autopilot features. Works very well on my Mio 168. Also version on PC is easier to experiment with the controls." | |
