This portable handheld weather station provides complete, useful and accurate weather information while on the go.
Features Include: Exterior temperature, humidity, and pressure sensors provide fast and accurate readings, built-in digital compass calculates wind components, ability to store environmental readings with the built-in (1400 data point) memory system for later recall. This unit will record the following: heading (true or magnetic); wind direction; pressure trend; barometric pressure; wet bulb temperature; relative humidity (%); heat stress index; dewpoint; density altitude; wind chill; air, water, and snow temperature; current, average, and maximum air velocity (from 0.8 to 135 mph). This unit will also calculate altitude (from -6000 to 30,000 ft) based on barometric pressure or reference altitude. The Night Vision (NV) feature helps users to sustain natural night vision and it useful when night flying.

Review
Pros: Waterproof and floats, 5-year warranty, flip-top (replaceable) impeller, NV option is great for night use, comes in olive drab or desert tan colors.
Cons: For the price it would be nice if the unit came with the optional wind vane; no backlit keypad.
Notes: Includes: soft carrying pouch, neck lanyard, and 2 AAA batteries. Optional PC interface cable to transfer collected data to your computer.
