This iPhone/iPod touch application provides a Heads Up Display (HUD) using the built-in GPS and accelerometer in your device.
Features Include: This HUD application provides common features found in a standard EFIS. You can choose custom units for displaying speed, altitude, and vertical rate. You can also customize the compass bug (heading marker) to a desired heading and customize the colors on the speed ribbon to show different colors based on speed. There is an indicator (ball) to show if your turns are coordinated. Below the speed and altitude ribbons there is an indicator showing the GPS accuracy. The program shows speed, altitude, G's, descent rate, heading as well as bank turn indicators.

Review
Pros: Fantastic graphics; customizable ribbon colors and heading bug; GPS accuracy shown on screen.
Cons: Various "INFO" screens cause the program to open a web-browser screen without confirmation to exit; when used in flight the screen seems to bounce around slightly too much.
Notes: ** Reviewed on an iPhone 3G - Firmware 3.0 **, press the "CAL" button on the main screen to reset the HUD horizon. Click on heading bug to move around the compass rose or use the "SETTINGS" button to configure.

| "Nice program. Works pretty well but, not perfect while in-flight. This is mainly due to the fact that the AI bounces around. Make sure you press the calibrate button once you are in level flight. Remember that this should not be used for actual navigation. {version 1.3.0}" | |
