This iPhone and iPod Touch application provides flight plan filing and tracking directly from your handheld device.
Features Include: Plan your VFR, IFR or DVFR flights using this wizard-based application. The program includes an easy-to-use aircraft color picker and equipment selector to help choose on-board equipment such as DME w/Mode C, RVSM, etc. The application will also assist with altitude corrections for VFR or IFR flight plans. Once you file your plan you will receive a detailed email confirmation with basic weather and flight details. Detailed status messages will be shown when a flight plan fails to be filed. If the plan fails to be filed, use the "Fix" feature to correct any errors. You can also view historical flight plans and use the copy feature to create new plans from previous ones. The main screen also keeps your flight plans organized by date.

Review
Pros: No subscription required, view detailed flight plan status, airplane color wizard, will remember previous tail number, pilot information, etc.
Cons: Once you exit the program certain fields will not retain history, no ability to close a flight plan.
