The DSSTop performance tool will assist you in planning your required takeoff distance.
Features Include: After configuring your aircraft from your Pilot Operating Handbook (POH) performance tables, you can use this application to quickly determine the estimated takeoff distance, the takeoff distance required to clear a 50 foot obstacle and the estimated rate of climb. You can also include humidity and density altitude to get closer to "real-world" take-off performance calculations.

Review
Pros: Very useful in doing preflight calculations & runway distance calculations.
Cons: No Demo available, must purchase complete version to demo software. Difficult to enter numbers (Palm OS only), lacking landing distance calculations.
Platform: Pocket PC version has a numeric keypad, Palm OS version doesn't.
Notes: Use this to check your takeoff calculations, there's also a Pocket PC version of this application.
