Circuit Pattern Calculator 1.2 (Retail)
This iPhone/iPod Touch program provides a quick way of calculating pattern entries for a given runway.
Features Include: The program provides a rotating heading wheel that is used to set the runway heading. Once the runway heading is set (example 240 for runway 24) all you need to do is select the pattern entry (being right or left). The program will then calculate headings for the downwind, base, final and crosswind legs of the pattern. As a bonus the program automatically calculates the 45 degree pattern entries and shows them to you in 4 quadrants on the screen.
What's New: 1.2 - changed how the finger rotates the compass rose, and several other small tweaks.

Review
Pros: Simple to use, nice graphics, and calculation of 45 degree pattern entries.
Cons: Using the rotating scale can be hard to set in a moving environment, no pop-up entry for runway number.
