News: TSA Has A Blog

In a big effort to reach out to the public the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has created a blog! And like any good blog it must have a name they have decided to call it "Evolution of Security", not a great name but kudos to them for bringing on the social web. Kip Hawley writes “Our ambition is to provide here a forum for a lively, open discussion of TSA issues,” in his initial blog posting on the site.

The best part about the blog is they you can provide comments and feedback on issues. There is also a section called “Gripes and Grins” they have provided a section where you can post both good and bad thoughts about the TSA and experiences you have while traveling.

I think this is a prime example of how a Blog works. I have seem good and bad implementations over the years, but a Blog is there to share your opinions and communicate to a group, they have done great with this, so thumbs up to the TSA!
