News: Silverjet Airlines Launches New Mobile Service

The all-business class carrier Silverjet has launched a mobile version of their website. This mobile version allows travelers to book flights, view schedules, seats and choose meals all from their mobile device.
The site was developed by Mobile Travel Technologies. To access the site simply open the website http://www.flysilverjet.com on your mobile phone and you will automatically be redirected to the mobile site. UK customers can also text "Silverjet" to 60767 to receive a link via SMS.
“The Silverjet experience was conceived to deliver convenience at all points of the journey and the launch of Silverjet Mobile is a response to a clear demand for mobile travel services,” said Silverjet IT director, George Henderson.
Recent research by the carrier revealed that more than a third (36%) of business travelers now regularly use mobile internet services for work, with nearly half (47%) requesting the benefits mobile technology can now offer airline passengers.
