News: Samsung's New Ultra UMPCs
Posted by Matthew Justice on Sep 6, 2007Samsung has released three new Ultra Mobile Personal Computers (UMPC) devices. These new additions to its Q1 family include the Q1U-SSDXP, the Q1U-ELXP and the Q1U-XP. These devices are being called the "Ultra" series devices and have a web-cam, biometric fingerprint reader, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0, 1GB memory, 7" LED backlit LCD, integrated split-QWERTY keypad and run Windows XP Tablet PC version.
Looking at the specs on these devices I think that the UMPC Q1U-SSDXP might just be the perfect PC to use in the cockpit. It looks to have everything needed, such as a solid-state drive and a 4.5 hour battery. If you are looking for a UMPC you should consider looking at these devices.
