News: Palm Centro - Finally a PDA Smartphone for $99
Posted by Matthew Justice on Oct 4, 2007Palm has released details on their new Smartphone (the Centro) that will be sold by Sprint for only $99 with expected availability on October 14. If you're a Sprint first timer or your contract is up, you'll be able to walk out with it for $99 with a two-year contract. That's a lot of function and power for a little price.
The new unit will be offered in two colors: onyx black and ruby red. The Centro is the smallest device from Palm yet and features Bluetooth, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, MicroSD slot, 128MB RAM, Intel 312Mhz Processor, 320x320 pixels, 3.5hr talktime, weight 4.2oz.
So in summary if you are looking for a new mobile device that you can use with aviation and daily life this appears to be a very good option.
