News: EAA Launches New Web Site

EAA launched its new website at www.EAA.org on Thursday, November 1, after several months in development. The new site has a cleaner, less cluttered look, simpler navigation, and a flexible, modular architecture for rapid content changes.
“The new website gives us the foundation for efficiently providing much more information and services to our members today and well into the future,” said Adam Smith, vice president of membership.
As with any change, EAA anticipates a certain adjustment period as users rediscover frequently visited locations. Most information - formerly found through a collection of individual links on the old website - has been incorporated into the dropdown menus on the new site. The result should be a shallow learning curve as users explore on the new website.
One of the new features of the new site include a feedback mechanism at the end of news stories, allowing visitors to register their point of view directly to the end of the story.
