News: British Airways To Offer SMS and Data-Only Internet on Select Flights

Starting in 2009, British Airways will begin offering text-message (SMS) service to passengers flying between London City to New York City while in flight. Passengers on these flights will also be able to access the mobile (Data-Only) Internet via their handheld devices. British Airways has yet to disclose pricing.

The service will launch only on British Airways business-class-only flights from the smaller London City airport to New York's (JFK).
