News: ARINC Direct Adds Flight Planning Capability for Mobile Devices

ARINC Direct has added wireless mobile flight planning to its portfolio of services for business jet operators.
While all ARINC Direct services are available on the Internet, ARINC Direct Mobile allows customers to create and submit flight plans using a portable BlackBerry or other personal wireless devices. In addition, customers can view route of flight with weather radar overlays, update departure time, retrieve text weather, and view the status of flight plans in their account. Trip kits may also be created and faxed or e-mailed, all from a personal wireless device.
