This iPhone 3G application uses your iPhone GPS to give you a moving map, direct-to navigation and distance calculations in a single application.

Features Include: The program is broken up into 16 regions around the United States. Choose either VFR or IFR mode to show different information. The map screen can be zoomed in and out by using the pinch or stretch gestures familiar to the iPhone. The screen will show airspace information, Iso-height elevation colors, roads, railroads, cities and towns, intersections, waterways, and airways. Click on any NAVAID or airport to view related information, such as frequencies, runway information, elevation and basic airport services. Switch to north-up mode, view aircraft track, or use the ruler feature to calculate distance and heading directly on screen. As an added benefit you can create custom waypoints by click on the screen or entering a waypoint latitude and longitude.

Cons: No quick toggle between VFR and IFR mode, no TFR overlay, night, or landscape modes.

"Fantastic program! Loads quickly and provides useful mapping information, coupled with GPS data. Another nice feature is that the program provides basic airport information such as runways, airspace, and communication/navigation frequencies. {version 1.2.0}"
