This Windows based logbook software is used by pilots of any level and support world-wide formats.

Features Include: Supports JAR/CAA/FAA formats and their reporting requirements. Built-in world map will display great circle tracks of your logged flights. The program will automatically calculate night and day time. The logbook also has a simulator tracking feature, 50+ reports & charts, full logbook printing, duty tracking, custom defined fields. The logbook also provides the ability to specify previous flight time. There is also a free downloadable worldwide airport database and ability to synchronize with FlightLog Remote Pocket PC Recorder.

Review

Pros: Currency tracking, great price, fantastic logbook for ATP crews, automatic day/night calculation.
Cons: Interface is slightly confusing due to multiple windows, the Pocket PC companion is difficult to use.
Notes: ** Reviewed on Windows 2000 and Dell Axim X51V **, there is also a FlightLog Recreational version for pilots who don't fly for the airlines.

"Pros: I have used this pilot logbook software for a few years now as a professional pilot and while I've tried some pretty fair programs like LogbookPro, FlightLog Professional takes the crown ... Basically it's quality and presentation. Best data input screen I've seen for what is never going to be a favorite task! but if you don't want to input all your past flying it has a superb way of letting you record previous flying, then integrating it into a really useful total flying report, which by itself could answer any job application questions in an instant. The duty log and check screen is excellent with a great feature whereby you can project flight hours to see if you can stay in limits. Query anything, anyway, anyhow you like. Automatic day/night times, visual route map, free PDA flight recorder with synchronization, supplementary airport database ... it just goes on! Cons: Not much really, probably beca! use I love it ! I know several guys who use it and if anything the PDA flight recorder is a bit 'tired' but works great if you follow the instructions. Even without that though, the main FlightLog Professional program is excellent in my opinion. {version 6.5.2.1}"
